In our last post, we discussed some of the causes of blurry vision, and we will continue with some of the other causes and a brief recap on them.
DIGITAL EYESTRAIN
When working on the computer, our eyes focus and refocus from time to time; by moving up and down while typing, our eyes react to images constantly moving and changing focus, sending varying pictures to the brain; studies have shown that we often don’t blink when using a computer (how often did you blink while reading this). Therefore, it causes the eyes to dry out and blur your vision periodically while working.
PREGNANCY
The hormonal changes during pregnancy cause blurry vision; it could be temporal and go after delivery. However, in some cases, it takes several months post-delivery for blurry vision to go away.
EYE ALLERGIES
Allergies that often affect the eyes come with various symptoms, which include blurry vision. Other symptoms may include redness, itching, tearing, swelling, photo phobia (sensitivity to light), and so on.
REFRACTIVE ERROR
Blurry vision may be because of refractive errors like nearsightedness (myopia), farsightedness (hyperopia), astigmatism, and presbyopia. All these errors could cause a person to have blurry vision.
CONCLUSION
We said blurry vision is the loss of sharpness of the eyesight in which objects appear out of focus and hazy. Blurry vision may be because of some serious eye problems or other factors. However, blurry vision can be frustrating and affect the quality of vision or sight.
