Hallucinations are false sensory perceptions; hallucinations involve taste, touch, sound, smell, and sight. Some of us have hallucinated at least once or twice; hold on before you doubt or argue. Let us give you relatable examples of hallucinations;
You might have heard your name, even answered, and discovered no one called you. Yes, then you have temporarily had auditory (sound) hallucinations.
If you have felt as if an insect is crawling on your skin and upon observation, you found no insect. That is tactile (touch) hallucination.
How about perceiving a smell that no one else perceives? It is an olfactory (smell) hallucination.
For this blog post, our focus is on visual hallucination.
WHAT ARE VISUAL HALLUCINATIONS?
